The Original BeautyBlender Review

Pink sponge was damp, it looks bigger than the dry black sponge.

We all know about the hype of using a BeautyBlender to apply your foundation and yes I got in sucked into the whole puff and finally tried the Original Beauty Blender. Before this came along, I'm always finger for foundation type of girl. Never really used a brush for my base, tried it with a few brushes but never really like the finishing of it.

With a BeautyBlender, I felt like I've known how to use it even before I got my hands on it because I've watched ample video tutorials where the YouTubers use this sponge to do their makeup. There are so many tips out there on how to use a BeautyBlender, thus I'm not even going to attempt to teach you how I use it because you've probably heard it so many times before. Though, I do have a video coming up where I actually used the pink BeautyBlender to apply my latest favourite Bourjois City Radiance foundation. I believed I literally went "OMGOSH, THIS IS SO GOOD" on the sponge.

Bourjois Paris City Radiance Foundation & Radiance Reveal Concealer Review

I am absolutely in love with these products! Yup, starting my blogpost with a big reveal that the Bourjois Paris City Radiance Foundation and Radiance Reveal Concealer are the bomb! I have a Get Ready With Me (GRWM) video coming up in two weeks time featuring these products, stay tuned on that.

I was a bit weary of the colours at first because I received the Bourjois Air Mat foundation sometime ago but the colour the sent me was way off. I requested for a lighter colour but no one replied my email, so I did not even bother with the review.

But these babies, are a complete different story. These new products are made for those who enjoys a light, glowy, yet long-wearing base. It's also surprisingly comfortable even in a hot and humid weather like Malaysia. I can't stop reaching out for these the past month.

Hits & Misses: Duplair W Ceramide Skincare Review \\ JQLeeJQ

I received these from TokyoNinki's website about a month ago and here am I with this review! I have never heard of this brand before and don't know how well this will translate onto my skin.

From the website, it's marketed as super hydrating products due to the main ingredient, ceramide. I've heard a lot about ceramides recently but never really understood what does it do to the skin. So I researched it and found that ceramides helps hold skin cells together, forming a protective layer that plumps the skin, retains moisture, and protect it from harmful foreign elements. Apparently, ceramides are also used to treat eczema.

Additionally, both Duplair W Ceramide Skincare products comes with collagen too and we all know how collagen is a great anti ageing ingredient for the skin. Either way, they both sounds good to me cause I have really dry skin!

The Way We Demo Clay Mask \\ Innisfree Super Volcanic Clay Mousse Mask Review \\ #TehChamLee

I received the Innisfree Super Volcanic Clay Mousse Mask recently and I've decided to do a demo and review with Dex on our YouTube Channel because... well, why not. We had loads of fun filming it!

This is the latest addition to the Jeju Volcanic Line that's formulated with Jeju's natural volcanic cluster called "volcanic scoria". Formed from the island's volcano lava flow which contains twice as much nutrients, this ingredient has a much stronger sebum control-capability than mud or red clay.

You can check out our crazy video below and then click more to read on my full review of the Innisfree Super Volcanic Clay Mousse Mask and the Super Pore Tightening Mask.

I've Tried A Non-Alcoholic Red Wine To Lose Weight. Does It Help? [Review]

Trying to lose weight? Yeah, me too. I've gain quite a bit of weight since the new year and CNY, it's not very obvious but there are some of my favourite dresses and pants that I can't dress freely anymore. Plus, doing my masters/studying and working at the same time is really taking a toll on my health cause it's harder for me to find time to exercise. When I was purely just working, I'm out a lot which forced me to walk and move a lot. These days, working from home and studying often only requires me to sit and stare at my laptop for long hours and sometimes, all night.

I also tend to snack a lot during my stress seasons, when I have assignment, thesis and work dues. Truly, not the best feeling on earth but I usually allow myself to do it because I need to fuel my brain in order to work on my assignments or thesis particularly. All these contributes to the factor of slowing down my metabolism rate, which obviously causes weight gain. This is where I'm trying out the NANO Reserva Red Wine, 1st non-alcoholic red wine to help loose some weight and hopefully, help me feel less lethargic during the day.

What Happens After Consuming Collagen Powder For 3 Months? [Review]

Before I got a collaboration with this brand, I have been researching about collagen powder in the market because I was really interested to finally dive into this range of beauty care. Basically, leveling up my beauty care because I'm 26 this year and really, it's the best time to start with the whole collagen craze for anti-aging. Additionally, I've found that collagen is not only good for your skin, it's also great for the hair. As you all know, I'm engaged and I'm currently looking to grow out my natural hair for my wedding next year, well, if possible, I'm trying to speed my hair growth process.

To have better hair growth, you'll need to have a healthy scalp and I definitely don't have the healthiest scalp as it's always very dry. Often, it flakes that makes it look super ugly dandruff-like flakes, in huge pieces. I believe it could also be due to the fact that I've over-worked my scalp and hair for the past two years. I've been going on a crazy hair bleaching and colouring season where I change my hair styles and colours like there's no tomorrow. Thus, truly damaging them to a pretty horrendous state. Thus, It very interesting that NANO Hyaluron and Collagen Powder actually helps with my dry scalp issue. It's tried and tested, 100% my honest opinion, I do believe it has something to do with this supplementary consumption that stops my flaking dry scalp.

There's really not much review to be found about this product. The NANO Hyaluron and Collagen Powder is not one of those super highly talked about collagen powder but for some weird reason, I have the peace to try it out. After trying out for 1.5 months, stopped for a few weeks, and go back on it again, I realise it makes a huge difference in certain areas and at the same time didn't too at other parts that I had some kind of expectations on it.

Additionally, this kinda applies to my everyday life, when I’m in a rush, I just do this or maybe even less, I’ll probably skip eyeliner if I’m lazy.

Hope you enjoy a little kid scene in the beginning too! Like and Subscribe for more videos! :D

A Warm ShoutOut To My Mom!

This is a very late post but I still want to officially wish my mom a Happy Mother's Day on my blog! Well, I'm currently living under the same roof as her, so I did wished her on the actual day. It's just that I brought her out to Ritz Carlton for a high tea session with Buro 24/7 Malaysia and SK-II. I was thankful for the event because my mom definitely deserved some time off her grandma duty (she and my dad are still doing such an amazing job taking care of my sister's little girl) and be treated to a fancy mother-daughter bonding session.

The event also gave my mom and I each an exclusive Spring Butterfly Limited Edition Facial Treatment Essence, which I believe by now my mom has already started using it, and a couple of Buro 24/7 merchandises.

If you ask me, I definitely see a lot of her in me. She has always brought me up to be a lady but at the same time, teaching me how to be a lady with an independent character. I've seen her changed the lights, fixed some minor plumbing issues, check the car engine oil, and so much more. Besides that, she cooks, she bakes, she sews and she cleans. Geez Mom, how can I keep up with you?

In the event, one question was asked from the Q&A card activity session, "What was your favourite memory with your mother?" I told my mom it was us, baking her famous marble butter cake. It's funny how I've never actually told her that I really do enjoyed the times where she'll allow me watch the cake mixer combine the butter and sugar, get me to help with the flour sifting although it's now a chore for me to do whenever I bake a cake, let me scoop in the milk while she managed the flour, allowing me to lick the spoon when we are done, and finally stopping me from eating the cake when it's hot.

Little activity like this actually impacted my life and made me to who I am today. Yes, now I bake, quite a bit and I love it. Additionally, I cook and clean too because my mom taught me to do so. I picked up the independent woman character because I grew up watching my mom being one. Truly, I treasure all these wonderful characters I picked up from my mom.

I Love You Mommy! Thanks for being so supportive in my life and the choices I make!

DIY Backpack with Levi's! \\ #TehChamLee

Hello everybody! We are so fortunate to be able to collaborate with an amazing brand like Levi’s Malaysia for the We Are Original campaign where they encourage people to be who they are.

Levi's launched ‘WE ARE ORIGINAL’ campaign recently where it's an invitation to everybody to live in the moment, connect with others, and be true to themselves. This new campaign serves to engage and activate the vast global community of Levi’s® fans around their shared experiences. It is a platform to showcase their unique Levi’s® stories.

It was the first day of Raya and we somehow got a brilliant idea to try to do the video in full Bahasa but... well, let's just say we both sucked at it. Seriously, we had a hard time figuring out the words to use and speak as fluent as we can. We had a good laugh at each other's terrible Bahasa. Clearly, we need practice. Maybe in the future.

Getting My Teeth Straighten Without Metal Braces [Part 2]

Hello everybody! I'm back to share with you my ClearSmile Invisible Braces update. If you don't already know, I am currently on this journey of getting my teeth straighten. I really wanted an alternative to actual metal braces due to the industry I am currently in, I'm doing videos and taking loads of pictures, I really didn't want to feel like those metal braces is holding me back. Thus, I'm so thankful to have this opportunity to get my teeth fixed with ClearSmile as they are pretty much invisible aligners and I get to take it off whenever I need to without restrictions!

I've written a full part 1 blogpost explaining more about ClearSmile and how it's going to work on my teeth. You can check out the blogpost link here!

Also, check out this video where I explain a little bit of my ClearSmile Journey!

Hits & Misses: Physicians Formula Cosmetics

I'm sure by now you all know that the famous Physicians Formula is available in most Watsons outlet in Malaysia. When I received the invite for the event some time back, no doubt I was super excited because some of their products are highly raved by International YouTubers and Beauty Gurus. I'm not going to go into details about the event because it's just another event but I've tried a couple of the products that I received from them during the launch, there was a bit of a drama, which I will explain more further down this blogpost at the foundation review section, there were also some products that I do like.

Before I go into the review, I was originally most excited to try the four items as shown in the picture above, basically all the Nude Wear compact and the Shimmer Strips.

Though, I received four completely different products from them to try, and they are Nude Wear Touch of Glow Foundation, Nude Wear Touch of Glow Stick, Organic Wear 100% Natural Origin Mascara, and the pH Matchmaker pH Powered Lip Gloss.
