I Dropped My Expensive Sony Camera & How I Got It Fixed

Here's an update on my dropped Sony RX100 Mark III and how I got it fixed cheaper than I thought it would be. I'm so glad that I finally get that done and over with, otherwise, my mind will be so fixated about the whole incident. Moral of the story, calling to check the price is good but it's always best to walk in and get it checked by the technicians themselves. Plus, they were so friendly! Kudos to you Sony!

I Can't Even Recognise Myself With This Hair Makeover!

I've decided to take a break from bleaching my hair as I want to grow out my natural hair colour as much as possible. It's either that or I might just dye it pitch black. I always thought black is boring but seriously other than it being easier to maintain, it's also very sexy yet innocent. I've just come to this point where I want a healthy looking locks that's easy to maintain. I've admitted so many times that I'm lazy when it comes to my hair. Thus, I'll accept any treatments and makeover that will help to bring life to my hair. Additionally, I was getting bored with my hair style, it was also shapeless, definitely time for a haircut.

Hits & Misses: Suntegrity Sunscreen [Review]

I know it says Hits and Misses on the title but wowzers, these are the best sunscreens that I've ever used! I was sent these products about 1-2 months back and truly, I can't stop using them. They are so amazing, especially for those with dry skin type.

Let's me just throw it out there, all their sunscreens do leave sleek-look to my skin, if you don't like that shine, stay away from this. I like it because it gives my skin a little more life than looking dull and dry. Although they claim their products to be non-greasy, I really feel that they have a tiny hint of greasiness going on. It's normal for sunscreen to have that shine factor because technically, they are meant to reflect those harmful rays but I have tried sunscreens that are truly non-greasy because they are water based sunscreen, so to say Suntegrity is non-greasy is definitely not quite accurate. They don't make you look like a total grease monkey but it does leave a moisturising look to the skin. These sunscreen protects as well as hydrates the skin really well.

I love, love, love their packaging. Simple, clean and very friendly to all gender. They are vegan, cruelty free, UV-Chemical free, and paraben, phthalate and mineral oil free. They are all super thick in consistency, which is not something that I am truly keen about but there something about this product that I can't seem to let go.

Pink Plum Makeup Tutorial! [Video]

Hello everybody! It’s time for a makeup tutorial. This is my closest, toned down version to a “western” type of makeup that doesn’t consist of all the dramatic false lashes and crazy contouring. Personally, for me, this is already a lot of makeup. I usually go less but I wanted to do this so that later on I can do a comparison of “western vs. asian” makeup video.

This video took a lot of editing. Thus, I thought it’s better to just enjoy without more voice over distraction. I’m pretty happy with how this video turned out. :D Hope you like it too!

I Seriously Love My Philips VisaPure Advanced! (Review)

I can't contain it. My excitement when it first announced its availability in Malaysia. After two year, since their first launch of the Philips VisaPure, which at that time, only comes with the brush head for cleansing, which I personally really didn't see the point of it because during that time, I was already hooked with my much cheaper Mary Kay Cleansing Brush (Blogpost Here). So back then, I rejected to attend the preview of it as they did not choose to bring this newly launched Philips VisaPure Advanced to Malaysia.

I knew I was going to really love this product when I first received it but I never knew that I could love it this much, as in so so much. Let's just be clear, the main star of this gadget for me, is the Revitalising Massage head and the Fresh Eyes head. They made a huge difference in my night skincare routine. They make me really happy as I feel so pampered every single time I use this after my night skincare routine.

SK-II Facial Treatment Oil (Review)

The problem with skincare is that we must always adapt to using what our environment allow us to use. I've always shy away from face oils because even though I have really dry skin, I feel that the hot and humid Malaysia weather just won't permit me to enjoy such luxury.

However, in the past two months, my skin was truly unforgiving. I had a rash due to testing out some other skincare, causing a patch of super flaky skin area. Also, my under eyes were really dry. Additionally, it was a new semester of my Masters, stress, I believe was also getting in the way. All these dry areas caused my foundation to fail at smoothing out properly, my makeup was never on point. It was tough.

Throughout May, I've decided to completely change my skincare up by using all SK-II products except my cleanser and my moisturiser. So it was FTE Miracle water, Facial Treatment Oil, GenOptics Aura Essence, and LXP Eye Cream. By the end of May, my skin felt so good. I notice it even during the time of the month, my skin was still really tamed. It was all under control.

I've spoke about the FTE Miracle water ample of times (Blogpost here) and reviewed the GenOptics Aura Essence (Blogpost Here). I will review the eye cream in another blogpost but for now, let's focus on why I really like the New SK-II Facial Treatment Oil.

All the things in my bag that keeps me sane when I'm out and about!
