My Opinion (After using for 1 month)

At the moment, I am not using this on my forehead because I am trying to cure my forehead acne and congestion problem before applying any good stuff on them. Thus I have been applying this on my U-zone mainly, chin and a little on my nose. This serum has a light-watery consistency and it absorbs almost immediately into the skin once applied. Though, the thing that I like most is that it doesn't leave your skin feeling physically dry, it does have a thin layer of moisture you can feel on your skin. It is not oily or sticky, it is just a nice layer of moisture on the skin. It didn't break my U-zone out and it does have a pretty nice scent to it.

I also applied it on my neck because that is where people tend to forget that neck shows your age if it is not well protected. My cheeks are more supple and my smile lines in between my cheeks & lips is less obvious now but I don't see much changes at the area around my eyes yet. I wouldn't really know if it does extend your youthful looking skin but in general, if you do take good care of your skin now, mostly likely you will end up with good skin when you grow a little older. I think at my age, the early 20s is the best time to start investing in good face products.

I love anything that comes in pumps because it is more hygienic and easier to travel in different altitude. Especially I go up & down the hills quite a lot, most of the non-pumps skincare always oozes out all my precious products when I am up on the hills. It's annoying. This product has a good glass packaging and is in a good size.

Sorry of the difference in color but I just want to show you the nice moisture it leaves on the skin.

Skinfood Concept Re-launch at The Mines + Watery Berry Skincare launch [Event]

Skinfood would like to introduce a fresh new look for its stores based on provincial European grocery concept shop after being in the beauty & skincare market for 7 years. I was there to enjoy the first-hand experience of this unique shopping journey through their new amazing looking concept store. I personally thinks that it looks great, looks really western + korean modern looking store that does have the effect of inviting girls & ladies into the store for some cosmetics & beauty shopping therapy.

This was the sale they had for Christmas, well, I guess we can say that it's over now. They did had some cools stuff in the 12 days of Christmas sale. :)

Introducing the new Watery Berry Skincare line.
As usual, they didn't go cheap on the packaging, the range looks amazing. Watery Barry range is inspired by this Christmas Winter holiday. It is filled with nutrition such as lingonberries, cloudberries and arctic raspberries from the frozen north combining with the famous hyaluronic acid for a soft, dewy complexion.

My favorite on the first look is the Blending Cream because of its unique clear jelly covering the white snowy cream inside a nice pot. I've tried the range on the back of my hands and true enough, it does have that cool sensation like in the winter.

I was given some samples that may not be sufficient to give you a complete review. I would probably only review the mask in the future. I would highly suggest you to go to the store to test them out first before getting the whole set. Maybe try asking a some samples so you can try to see if it suits your skin.

Other than the samples, I managed to pick out some of the products that are probably more useful to me at the moment. :)

Chlorella Peeling Gel
I've tried it only once and I'm not exactly loving it at all.
I'm not really sure why, probably suits oily skin type better.
I might just give it away to whoever wants to try it. I will teach you how to use this soon.

Milk Shake Point Make-up Remover
Now this I am loving so far, I'm really glad I purchased this because first of all it looks amazing. Secondly, it smells good and thirdly, it removes make up well. So yay for this!

Black Bean Eye Brow Pencil
I think this is alright, I like that it has a double ended side of brush & brow pencil. The color that the lady picked for me was quite suitable for an everyday natural brow look which is exactly what I'm looking for. I'm still quite new at keeping my brows in shape, thus still in the midst of experimenting before going all crazy. This new pencil have been fun so far :)

Keep updated with me for more reviews & event!

Sandwich, Wings & more... [Food Looks]

+Colin Gan & I were hanging around Tropicana while waiting for our Jack Reacher Premier Screening with Nuffnang to start. We stumbled across a new restaurant called Stacks, I guess what attracted us was the classic American looking sandwich store with the black & white checkered tiling, the hanging triangle lighting plus the may-not-be-working jukebox totally worked it.

The shop was actually really new and much have not been installed yet. According to the person-in-charge state that it will be officially launch only in January. Also, if you are a member of certain stores around the area, you'll get discounts. Of course, they also have student price discounts.

Could this be just another sandwich shop? Like Subway & O'Briens? Pricing wise, they are pretty much similar to the other two competitors. The idea is to stack as much of fillings you want, they will charge through the items that is stated on the menu. You can create your own sandwich or just pick one of the set menus that so far doesn't comes with drinks.

Level of freshness, super fresh. Sadly, when we were there, the oven/griller or whatever you call the gadget to melt the cheese inside is not available yet. Thus, eating everything cold is such a healthy alternative. At leas I feel it was extremely healthy because it was cold. Haha. Also, apparently they do not use the traditional type of bread, he was telling something about the bread being spongy like a cake. Any-hu, it tasted yummy, how I know because I'm a bread lover.

Drinks selected, rather limited but you have your regular caffeine selections, top brands juices & teas. Me being kepo, glancing through their fridge, I would agree that they only serve good quality/imported juices.

Sandwich size, quite big for my size but average for guys. :) I'm quite satisfied with a size for the amount of money we paid for. Some picture below to show you the size comparing it to our mouth.

Would I go back again, yes because I'm bias as I do have something-something for bread & sandwiches, I would choose them over rice & noodles all the time. Also, I do like the fact that they uses high quality juices even though drinking low grade juices with high sugar content doesn't bothers me.

Price wise, it is kinda expensive for me but comparing to other sandwich outlets, it is around this price. By the way, the set is suppose to be RM17 not RM15 because he mixed up & told us the cheaper price in the beginning. Lols. So being a good businessman, he charged us only RM15.

Other than tasting a good fresh sandwich randomly, I also had my very first McCafe! Wooooo *crowd screams* Lols. I have been wanting to experience the McCafe feel for a very long time, just so happens I had to wait for +Colin Gan while he is done with work. Thus, decided to crash the McCafe nearby his workplace. To be honest, I felt like a total noob, I even asked the McD counter if this is McCafe and stupidly I ordered from the McD counter before finding out the real McCafe counter is right behind me =_= If I knew, I would have ordered some cakes/muffins instead of the twister fries. The funniest was when the twister fries was ready, I stood there like a *dunguu* for about 30 seconds before asking do I go pick up my coffee from the McCafe counter? Burn..... the lady was also apologizing cause she forgot to inform me. HAHA! The funniest thing was, I went to the chilli station & took white sugar while complaining to myself why isn't there any brown sugar for a "cafe" standard. Little did I know, they had brown sugar when I was collecting my coffee at the McCafe station. So the ulu... & I couldn't resist myself to dump a mountain of chocolate powder on top of my cappuccino. :D Such a kid.

Also, it was our 2nd anniversary on the 20th December. So he brought me over to Chilli Rush at Jaya One for some hot wings. We were adventurous and crazily did hot-ness level 7, we were gasping for air and refilling water like crazy throughout the meal. Lol.

Recently, I've been really into drinking yogurt drinks every morning as I realized it helped with my digestions. Well, I am not promoting Nestle Bliss, because it was the only yogurt drink choice available up in Genting. They also only had the small bottle at the area nearest to my office. I only like the strawberry & mixed fruit flavor :) Mixed berries works well for me too. :D

Selsun Dandruff & Scalp Treatment Shampoo [Review]

Is my reviews getting weird-er? Lols, I mean like now, I am going to review about an anti-dandruff shampoo that I absolutely adore! Yes, it is through experience, that's why I review products. and no, this wasn't given, it was purchased.

I would say I've had this bottle of shampoo for almost 6 months now. I remember during April till about July or August this year, I've been out there looking for the greatest anti-dandruff of all time. Well, mostly because I was a victim suffering from horrible dandruff. It was really really bad, trust me. I have friends who can testify to this statement. I love wearing black or dark outfits but I get so conscious wearing them, I keep looking over to my shoulders and sweeping those white particles away.

Yet again, my pharmacist sister & brother-in-law came to the rescue and suggested me this to try. Most of you may not have seen this because it is not a counter product that you can see it laying around the drug store. I guess you would have to ask for it as it is a "prescription" kind of product. So I just follow the provided instructions at the back and OMG, I swear, this is the best anti-dandruff shampoo I've ever used! Seriously.

The first time, I shampoo-ed once, leave it for a while, rinse & repeat the steps for another round. The next day, you can see less dandruff already. I kept using it for almost 1-2 weeks on alternate days, my dandruff totally goes off! Like permanently! So I just stop using it but still keep the remaining in case, it comes back again. Which recently I've tried out some tonic for anti-hair fall, I got a feeling its coming back again, thus I just stop using the tonic. So far is still good :)

I guess is not really like a shampoo, it is more like a treatment liquid as it doesn't bubbles up like a shampoo does. You main focus should be massaging the scalp & leave it on for a few minutes before rinsing & repeat. Shaking the bottle well is really important too because the good stuff might just sink at the bottom of the bottle. :) The yellow, chalky liquid consistency is thin thus it slips through your hands rather easily not like the regular shampoo. It is also said to be great for skin treatments but I have never tried it on my skin before as I don't suffer from any skin problems. :) Thank God!

Again, I swear that this is the best product to treat your dandruff!

Rosken Skin Repair Dry Skin Hydrating Lotion [Review]

Is it odd for me to review a lotion? Do any bloggers out there review a lotion before? Well, I guess personally I've never really taken lotions that seriously because most of the time if you are living in Malaysia, young girls don't really bother about having lotion on due to the humid weather of our country. I don't feel like it is a real necessity as compared to a face moisturizer. I've really only started using lotion since roughly a year back, maybe because when you are getting older, you tend to pay more attention on different parts of your body or skin.

So even before I've officially working in a cold, dry environment, I've be obsessed in applying lotion after every shower. I just don't like the feeling of being so dry after showering, it could also be that I've not been paying attention on what body shampoo I'm using. That's the funny thing, I like the clean feeling from using a body shampoo but I hate the dry after shower feeling. Such a hypocrite. =_= Being a girl is nasty.

Anyway, my sister somehow brought back a ton of Rosken lotion and clearly, I was extremely excited because well, I use lotion like a mad woman. So I brought this, the biggest bottle of lotion to my room at my workplace. I also kept a small hand carry in my office drawer & another medium size in my room at my parents house. They are all Rosken but different function/label on them.

I have been using this for the whole month of December after ever shower. This is not the best lotion I've used and honestly I don't think I've ever or will ever find one best lotion because all of them functions to moisturize your skin. I've been using this brand since I was young and the thing I've realize with Rosken is that it takes some work massaging the lotion into the skin. Some lotions just massage 2-3 times up & down the arms/legs it would just absorbs but with this, if you don't massage it in well, you can still see the white lotion on your skin. I would say this is because of the thicker than usual consistency of the lotion which I won't entirely categorize it as a bad lotion.

It really depends on what you need. Maybe if you are living in a humid environment, this may be a little to thick for you but if you are living in a cold, dry environment, this would do great for the skin. It does stays on well, I don't feel that the moisture went missing after a night of good rest, it stays on till the next morning. :)

Oh and btw, it a clinical type of lotion thus don't expect flowery scent from this lotion.
